Welcome!

Thank you for visiting my website. I am a proud lifelong resident of Boston and am ready to bring positive change to our city, with the support of Boston residents like you. As an economic develoment director for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, I am the only At-Large candidate for Boston City Council with experience delivering jobs and economic investment to Massachusetts cities – a skill the Council needs now more than ever. My experience working with the private sector, combined with my passion for social justice and community partnerships, makes me uniquely qualified to provide Boston's diverse neighborhoods with the resources and services they deserve.

I invite you to read Jackson's 5-Point Plan and Get Involved with my campaign to deliver real talk and real action for Boston families like yours.

Jackson’s 5 Point Plan

1. Creating Great Jobs for Great People

Job creation initiatives
Boston has a robust business community, a world-class workforce and venture capital community. We need to invest in our companies and our people by creating up-to-date, real-world jobs for today and tomorrow.

2. Making Housing Affordable

Affordable housing
Promote affordable housing education and loan programs such as MAHA (Massachusetts Affordable Housing Alliance). Convert foreclosed properties into affordable housing. Offer landlords incentives to negotiate long-term leases with stable tenants.

3. Providing First Class Public Education

We must better prepare our young people to compete in the increasingly-global economy with initiatives such as a mentoring program pairing public school students with working professionals.

4. Securing Safe, Clean Neighborhoods

Secure funding for summer youth violence prevention programs based on Boston Police Department data for violent ‘hot spots. Promote year-around job training programs for youth and recruit businesses to participate.

5. Building Partnerships that include YOU

The Boston City Council and city government should be an open book to the residents of Boston. City Councillors should promote civic engagement by informing voters of their Council responsibilities and how residents can have input into this process.
