Councillor Jackson's City Hall Staff

Mr. Frank Allen Pryor is Councillor Jackson's Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor. Mr. Pryor has held administrative positions at the former Boston City Hospital, Dorchester Counseling Center, and University of Massachusetts at Boston.  More recently Pryor has been a professor of Political Science at Villanova University. His research areas include Urban Politics and Research Methods. He was raised and currently resides in the Grove Hall section of Roxbury in the heart District 7. Mr. Pryor holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from UMass/Boston, a Masters of Arts degree from Villanova University in Political Science, and pursued his doctoral work in Political Science at Howard University in Washington, D.C. 

 

Mr. Robert Woodson is Councillor Jackson’s Constituent Services Director. Before accepting this role in Councillor Jackson’s office, Robert was the Field Director on At-Large City Councillor Ayanna Pressley’s successful campaign for re-election. Mr. Woodson has prior working experience with Boston City Council. He is familiar with a variety of community organizations, including the Dudley Street Neighborhood Initiative, of which is was on the Board of Directors for two years. Robert grew up in Roxbury and currently resides in Jamaica Plain.

 

Ms. Bennett Gray Wilson is the Deputy Chief of Staff.  Ms. Wilson was raised in the South End.  Most recently, she served as Councillor Jackson's Communications Director after holding the position of Deputy Communications Director at the Campaign to Elect Tito Jackson.  She has written for the South End Patch and Wesleyan University’s student-run newspaper, The Argus.  Wilson worked on Congressman Barney Frank’s re-election campaign in 2010 as the Deputy Field Coordinator.  She interned at MTV Networks International, the Sheldon Whitehouse for Senate 2006 campaign, and Boston Common Magazine. Wilson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Latin American Studies with a concentration in Government.
